Horseback riding is a very popular holiday adventure activity, and you can now experience a guided horse riding tour on the beach. There is no better way to start your day than by galloping through the shallow waters, while watching the sun rise.
Horseback riding beach rides offer a thrilling way to enjoy the majestic beauty of the ocean. A slow walk is very relaxing and will allow you to take in as much of the picturesque scenery as you can manage. For the more high-spirited, galloping along the coast is an exhilarating experience. Have a friendly competition – decide on a finish mark and race your horses along the beach. Then enjoy a gentle walk back along the shore as you and the horses cool down.
Enjoy a scenic ride over sand dunes and the unspoilt coastline. With the ocean in sight, anticipation mounts as the beach gets nearer all the time. Often the horse riding tour will pass by a river mouth, which can offer spectacular photographic opportunities, as well as the chance to explore the surrounding coastline.
Horse riding is not limited to size and experience. The guided tours accommodate all ages and riding levels, and there will be horses to accommodate a larger physique. Horse riding apparel will be provided, and the guide will help you to saddle and mount the horses if need be. Do not allow a fear of horses to make you miss out on such an experience. The horses will have been trained, and there is often an especially mild tempered horse for those who have had less than pleasant prior experiences.
Guided horse riding tours are usually offered seven days a week, with one or two tours departing each day. Booking is essential so that there are enough horses for your group, as well as rotating the horses so that they have plenty of time to rest between tours.
